Crossover is pretty much the same thing as Wine. Wine takes more of a person knowing what they are doing to get it right but there's a community dedicated to that "porting team". Running most if not all apps in 32-bit mode on systems that have little memory available can potentially lead to an increase in overall system performance. Forcing a 64-bit app to open in 32-bit mode reduces its memory usage significantly.

Sixtyforce is quite out of date it literally hasn't been updated in years with updates then also only coming once in a blue moon. Another solution without doing something drastic or rash would be to try Mupen64plus.
